Dave has been fermenting foods for the past two years and is excited to share what he has learned in this free workshop. People have been fermenting foods for thousands of years and finally, the health benefits are being brought into the mainstream of healthful eating! Join us at the workshop where we will cover a simple background on what fermented food is, and how to achieve it simply, safely and deliciously in your own home. The fears and myths of fermenting foods will be dispelled and you will be armed with the confidence to grab any vegetable and change it into something completely different, tasty and packed with a bounty of healthy probiotics. We will be doing a tasting of various fermented foods from Dave’s pantry, formulating recipes as a group and dispersing online resources to help you on your fermented food journey long after you leave.
